Project Highlight: 002 Search & Ecommerce.

Brands Media was recently engaged to audit a company's digital & e-commerce strategy. Post audit, we were awarded the business, and shortly after took action in rebuilding, restructuring and implementing our plan.


The client had a strong focus on e-commerce, so priority number one was evaluating their current tech-stack, identifying areas of concern and delivering best-practice setups. This included work on Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and WooCommerce. Finally, the Google Ad account underwent a restructure - rebuilt to reduce wastage in the media dollar and more relevancy to the consumer.


We dialled back on unnecessary spending and focused on what was driving results, tightening keyword match types, evaluating landing page conversion rates and adjusting asset groups. We evaluated product performance, tweaked bids to be in-line with peak time of day and day of week sales, all while monitoring the effects to key metrics in our custom built dashboards developed by Brands Media.


In the first month, we delivered a significant improvement to CPA and started to identify areas of growth. We capitalised on areas of opportunity - which helped win new customers, drive back existing customers and deliver a much more qualified audience. Now, after three months in-market, the clients Google Ad account has seen a +78% increase in clicks, +363% increase in conversions and a reduction in CPA of -136%, with ROAS up +485% and continuing to climb.
